During the 2013-2014 school year, Beauregard Parish implemented the Common Core curriculum.  According to http://www.corestandards.org/, "The Common Core State Standards provide a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn, so teachers and parents know what they need to do to help them.  The standards are designed to be robust and relevant to the real world, reflecting the knowledge and skills that our young people need for success in college and careers.  With American students fully prepared for the future, our communities will be best positioned to compete successfully in the global economy."

 

This implementation of the new curriculum means that the literature covered in class will be given in handout form.  Students will be given one copy in class.  However, if a student loses their handout, they may click on the appropriate links below to find their missing materials. 

Handouts for this section will be arranged in Unit order.  They will also be arranged in the order that they are covered in class.  These handouts will be mixed with notes taken in class.
